LIFE AT HOME FOR THE U.S.

  • The U.S. had a good relationship with Great Britain,France and 2 other countries
  • America was the top industrial and agricultural producer
  • Citizens used war bonds to help the soldiers

U.S. HOME LIFE

  • 6.5 million women joined the work force during the war
  • The war gave the U.S. a boosting economy
  • They were limited on what they could buy

U.S. HOME LIFE

  • Youth groups were new in America. Some of the groups were called "" Boy Scouts,"" ""Camp Fire"" ""Girl Scouts"" and ""Junior Red Cross""
  • They had less food
  • Children collected tin cans, paper, toothpaste tubes and apricot pits to make for soliders

LIFE AT HOME FOR RUSSIA

  • They used diaries to write about the war
  • Many had no money to cross into different countries
  • Russia was a weak monarchy

RUSSIA HOME LIFE

  • Socialists did not like the war at all and were against it
  • A lot of labor and financial support was apart of this
  • Loss of food

  • Hundreds of factories and companies closed
  • Money became useless
