scan, scan, scan

  • Your security software should have several different scanning options to choose from
  • If threats are found, you will have a list of those and recommended options to better safeguard your computer

Passwords

  • Personalize your password -No more '12345'
  • Be hard to predict
  • Don't share unless it is with someone you trust
  • Use a combination of letters, numbers, special characters
  • If you have a hard time remembering, be sure to make note of the password and keep it in a safe place (DO NOT follow the picture's example)

Locking your computer

  • Having the greatest and strongest password in the world doesn't do you any good if you don't log out or at least lock your computer after you leave it, even if you leave for a little while.
  • If left unattended, someone could very easily change or uninstall important security measures to prevent further breach of security.
