- Short term - 1-2 months
- Midterm - 2 months to a year
- Long term -1 year plus
Example:
I want to run in a race.
It helps if: You can picture it clearly
I will run and finish a 5K .
I will finish a 5K walk.
(I have bad knees!)
I will finish walking a 5K race (because I am working on
improving my overall health).
I will finish walking a 5K race by August 30, 2015
