2.
WHERE IS THE GANGES RIVER?
To begin, the ganges river
Crosses over a large portion
Of northern india.
3.
COOL. WHERE DOES IT START?
The river begins in the Himalayan
Mountains and travels from the
North in a south-east direction
Into the northern plains.
4.
WOW! THATS A LONG WAY..
The river, in its fabulous decent,
Travels through India's fine valleys
And over rough terrain consisting
Of rocks and harsh icy mountainsides

5.
DO THE INDIANS USE IT?
Definitely! The River provides fertile
Land to the indians in the plains
By carrying silt throughout the area.
The soil is considered some of the
Richest in the world.

6.
WHAT KEEPS IT FLOWING?
The Ganges's water comes from melted
Ice up on the mountains, which keeps it
Plentiful. As a result, however, the river
Floods and can destroy crops during
The rainy seasons.

7.
THAT MUST BE ROUGH.
Early settlers suffered from
This problem, though it is more
Easily dealt with today
(It still makes a farmer's day
Totally bad though)

8.
THE GANGES IS STILL PRETTY GREAT
Though the Ganges River has its flaws
It has bettered the surrounding communities
And beyond with its precious silt and overall
Awesomeness.
