HERE ARE SOME GREAT COMPOSERS OF CLASSICAL MUSIC.

Wolfgang A. Mozart/ Wolfgang was born on January 27 1776 in Salzburg Austria.

He started performing at 6 years old. In December 1796 (Wolfgang at the age of 13) his father left him, his sister, and mother.

Wolfgang looked up to Johann Bach and GeorgeFredric Handle.

Wolfgang died on December 5, 1791 at 35 and still wrote 600 songs.

GIOACHINO ROSSINI

He was born on February 29,1792 in Pesaro,Italy. He preformed his first song - Demetrioe Polibio in 1806

At the age of 15 he learned violin,horn,and harpsichord and sang.

In the next 20 years he wrote 40 songs. He moved to Paris in 1823 and met and preformed for King George IV.

He died on November 13,1868 in Paris

Another great composer is Richard Strauss.

Richard was born on June11,1864 in Munich, Germany.

Richard's dad was a famous horn player. When Richard left school in 1882 he had wrote 140 songs.

He had a son 1882 named Franz. Richard's nickname was the " family man".

Richard died September 8,1949.

LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN

Beethoven was born on December 16, 1770 in Bonn Germany.

Beethoven wrote music between the romantic eras. Some of his most important works were composed during the last 10 years of his life.

Beethoven played violin with his father many times in his early life.

He became deaf in 1801 at 31 years old. He is considered the greatest composer of all time.

Beethoven died March 26,1827.

JOHANN S. BACH

Bach was born on March 31,1685 in Eisensch,Germany.

Bach came from a family of musicians. He played the violin at a young age. Bach 's parents both died when he was 10 and was an orphan.

Bach lived with his older brother Johann Christoph. His older brother provided music lesson for him.

In 1740, Bach was losing eye sight but still wrote music.

Bach suffered a stroke in 1750. Bach died on July 28 ,1750 in Leipeig, Germany.
