Summary
A man and his crew caught a rare shark known as the frilled shark. They call it in because they thought it was a new species. Then they learned it was a rare shark called the frilled shark.
After they caught it they Sold the shark for a large amount of money.

The shark is called the living fossil because the species were alive 80 million years ago. People were confused when they saw the shark because it had an eel body but a shark like head. This shark is part of the sharks extant family.
