R is for randy
Randy is a socs. He had helped jump Johnny with 4 other socs. He was also saw his best friend "Bob" die. After he saw that it changed him. He realized there was no point in things he used to do with bob and without him. For example, fighting.
S is for socs
Socs are very much hated by the greasers and they hate them back just as much. They like to jump gang greasers just for fun. And seem so much better than them. But everyone realizes that greasers and socs are alike... They all see the same sunset. Right.
T is for two bit
Two bit is the funny guy. He always has to have a comeback and put his two sense in.
U is for understanding
Soda is very understanding. He is always there to talk and is someone everyone likes to talk too when they have troubles. He understands ponyboy more than anyone.
V is for view point
Ponyboy is the person telling the story. We see everything from his view point. We know what and how he feels about things. But not anyone else. If it was from Dally view point the story would be different with different events that lead up to the main event.
W is for war
The socs and greasers really did hate each other with a passion. Disliking each other from where each other came from. If you were a hoodlum or rich boy you were just hated. It was like the socs and greasers were at war.
X is for
Y is for young
Johnny had died at a young age. Ponyboy was the youngest in the gang and the youngest out of his two brothers.
