Paralysis
Paralysis is when you lose all the function of your muscles. You can't move the affected area if it is paralyzed.

Paralysis
The symptoms of paralysis is not being able to move or feel with the affected area.

Paralysis
People get paralysis by damaging their spinal cord in accidents. Paralysis is also contracted by infections, poisoning, blocked blood vessels and tumors.

Paralysis
Paralysis is not contagious. It is not contagious because paralysis is usually caused by accidents or diseases with paralysis effects.

In 2013, there were 406 cases of paralysis caused by polio in the United States.

Children can get paralysis. One in 200 cases lead to permanent paralysis.

Patients are treated by getting them used to living a life of being paralyzed and try to get the patients to be as independent as possible.

There is no cure for permanent paralysis. People with paralysis can only be treated.
