Imports include crude oil and natural gas, prescription drugs, and lumber.

COUNTRIES INVOLVED

Because of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), trade between Canada, the United States, and Mexico is direct.

CHANGE AND EFFECT

American Culture is passed on to Canada. Most Canadians live with within 100 miles from the United States border. They can be heavily influenced by American music, language, television, etc. Intellectual Property such as computer technology, manufacturing technology, and agricultural technology are also passed on to Canada.
