  • Keep hands and bodies to yourself
  • Use kind words
  • Take turns on play structure
Safe bodies and safe words --- when we get crazy and out of control it is not safe

Be Safe (1st - 3rd)

  • WALK on blacktop
  • Use words
  • No tag games
  • No touching other people

  • Be aware of others' games
  • Do not continue to play after the bell rings and whistle blows

Recess Responsibility (K)

  • Clean up area after snack
  • Only enter class to use bathroom
  • Return balls
  • Line up when whistle blows

Recess Responsibility (1-3)

  • Clean up area after snack
  • Walk to tetherball and other activities
  • Return balls
  • Clean Lego cart at 5 minute whistle

Recess Responsibility (4th/5th)

  • Clean up area after eating
  • Return balls to shack
  • Do not continue to play after bell/whistle
  • Walk QUICKLY to class

  • When whistle blows raise your hand for dismissal
  • Clean lunch area
  • STACK cardboard trays
  • WALK WALK WALK to playground
