• Lucretia Mott was a U.S. Quaker, abolitionist, a women's rights activist, and a social reformer. She had formed the idea of reforming the position of women in society when she was amongst the women.

SOJOURNER TRUTH

• an African American abolitionist and women's rights activist. Truth was born into slavery but escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826.
