PIGS

  • Use- raised for meat
  • Most populated pig in the U.S
  • They were first brought into the U.S in 1830.
  • There is a club for them and they meet in Minneapolis.

SHEEP

  • Breed- Churra
  • Color- All
  • Use- They produce very food milk.
  • Also known as the Navajo-Churro sheep.
  • They make Zamorana cheese.
  • They are on the endangered species list.

HORSE

  • Breed- Belgian draft horse
  • Color- Light chestnut
  • Use- They are used to transport things. Also for show.
  • They are the mascot for BudLight.
  • Popular for carrying knights into battle during Medieval times.
  • The largest Belgian ever was 3200 pounds.

  • Breed- Silkie
  • Color- White or tan
  • Use- meat and companions
  • There skin and meat is black
  • They get their name because their feathers are "silky"
  • Many silkie chickens star in commercials
