A WIDE, WIDE OCEAN TO CROSS

  • No one knew exactly if the pilgrims landed their ships on rock or land.
  • The pilgrims went on a voyage to earn freedom or to go on an adventure and to become rich.

REVERE'S MOST!

  • Revere rode from Boston to Lexington to warn Samual Adams.
  • Paul Revere made copper plates for book illustrations.

COLONIAL KIDS

  • Most kids died from Diphtheria whopping, cough, small pox around the age of 6
  • They were valid members.
  • They didnt have a lot of toys and most of them were handmade/homemade.

THE PILGRIMS LIVE ON

  • In a pilgrims house a fire place was used for cooking, light, and heat.
  • Peace between the colonists and Indians lasted for about 55 years.
  • Childern had to work hard and toys and games were very rare.

  • They didn't have any in the past that we have now.
  • Candles were made by animal fat.
  • The Americans had less accessories.

THE BUSINESS OF AMERICA

  • Colonists started out farming but later on they started new buisnesses.
  • To the 18th century many colonial merchants were successful.
  • When they discovered iron they started making things out of it like pots, pans, and cannon balls.
