MATERIALS

  • Potatoes
  • Copper nails
  • Galvanized nails
  • Cables
  • Multimeter

PROCESS STEPS

  • Get one potato
  • Insert a copper nail into it
  • Insert a galvanized nail at 2cm apart from the copper nail
  • Measure the voltage across the nails using a multimeter
  • Record the voltage

UPGRADE TO MULTI CELLS

  • Use 4 potatoes
  • Connect them in series
  • Resulting in a higher voltage result
