How Nintendo was created

Nintendo first started in 1889 and was making handmade playing cards in Kyoto ,Japan. They became quite popular and combined with Disney to have Disney characters on their cards, Which made them REALLY popular. Then later in 1968 they lost all their sales because of the Olympics. Instead of selling cards for 900Yen they now sold them for only 60 yen.
Then in 1970 japan had its first ever gaming console. It was a big hit so Nintendo decided they could Also make a console so they made the TV Box 60 Color. It was the first ever console they made and Sold Over 600,000 per Year. Later on they made a lot of other consoles and still keep producing them. Today the Nintendo switch is the most popular console in the world.

Their first console was the color game tv. It was a small box that connected to a tv and you could only play a few games.
1980-1991 The Mr game and watch. The Mr game and watch had many accessories such as a tape drive, a joystick and a lightgun. Mr game and watch was powered on a computer.
1980-1991 Famicom. Famicom was the first attempt in a cartridge console. It sold over 500,000 copies, 100 dollars each in the first two months. Though console was a big hit Unfortunately, it would freeze when playing games. That was an awful problem and had to cost them half a million dollars.
1985- NES ( Nintendo Entertainment System ). The Console had a R.O.B unit that would connect to it. The NES had buttons, 2 Ports and 15 games that would be sold separately.
1990- Super Famicom. The Super Famicom had upgraded hardware from the original Famicom, such as video and processing power.
1992- SNES ( Super Nintendo Entertainment System )
The SNES had improved, rounded edges from other Nintendo consoles. Also, the SNES had four new buttons. This console sold quickly worldwide.
1996-Nintendo 64
The Nintendo 64 or theN64 sold all of their 350,000 copies. It had two controllers. Also was made to look more rough like other consoles at this time.
2001-Gamecube
The Gamecube had new and improved graphics. It also had a brand new controller, and a handle so it could be more portable. The Gamecube was the first Nintendo console to be in a disc format.
2001- Panasonic Q. This was the version japan had unlike the gamecube which was sold in other countries.
2006-Wii. The wii was a new type of console which had a motion controlled controller.
2012- wii mini. The wii mini was small but didn't have all the features the wii has.
2012- Wii u. The wii u is similar to the nintendo switch. It had a touch screen and could connect to the tv.
2017- Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo switch has Joycons that you could take off and use the screen as a monitor. It can connect to the tv when you are playing as a group.
How Nintendo designs Super Mario Odyssey

Nintendo designed Super Mario Odyssey similar to the other Mario games. It has to start with a base/ weapon that revolves around the game like the vacuum cleaner in luigi's mansion. In Mario odyssey they created the hat. You can use the hat in many different ways such as, jumping, transforming into other characters and using their abilities and so on. Every mario game has a different type of jump, in mario odyssey they have a lot of jumps. The game only uses 3 buttons and a joystick.
