OTHER FACTS
"Da Vinci" simply means "of Vinci",
His drawings included musical instruments, war machines, calculators, boats and many others.
Many of these plans were not put into action because of the level of technology at the time.

Michelangelo and Davinci called them selves the universal man
Leo believed painting was a much higher than sculpture
Which in turn caused an argument between the two

He was always looking for a sponsor/patrons

And he went from patron to patron
Until all the popes were dead then the french king sponsored him
