Abiotic Factors and how they affect the biomes of North Carolina.
Abiotic factors are non-living factors of an environment. Abiotic factors are things like rocks and water. Water contributes to the environment as a source of drinking, bathing and also for habitats. There are rock arches which help anadromous fish spawn in the Cape Fear river.
traditional energy sources are fossil fuels. Coal and natural gas are fossil fuel. More than 85% of energy comes from fossil fuels. Coal has been used for thousand of years. Gas and diesel are a type of fossil fuel that cars, planes, boats use. Coal, natural gas power plant produce massive amounts of energy but there are some defaults to using fossil fuels.
