RADIUM

THE ELEMENT THAT KILLED MANY

Radium is a radioactive element the was used at one point at factories to paint the numbers on clocks to make them visible and glow in the dark. But they stopped doing that because many factory workers were killed from exposure to the element.

The color of the element is a silvery/white color and there are 138 neutrons and the atomic mass is 226.4 and the state of it at room temp is a solid and the number of protons is 88.

It is used to treat cancers and it was lost used in tooth paste and to paint numbers on clocks and also trying to be used for breast cancer

Radium puts the rad in radical!!!
