Changing The Environment Cont.

  • This trend also implies that educators are increasingly becoming creators, too, and are therefore in the position to lead activities that involve developing and publishing educational content.
  • As teachers become more comfortable using media, they can offer better guidance to their students.

Tools for the Classroom

  • Camtasia can be used to create screencasts from computers.
  • Students can narrate the screencast, teaching others how to navigate programs.
  • Students can also use this to narrate through a web based presentation. This can be a very effective teaching tool.
  • Screencast-o-matic is does this as well.
