WHEN WE LOVE SOMEONE
- We root for their success.
- We believe in their inherent goodness and capacity.
- We help them believe in themselves.
WHEN THEY FAIL
- We give honest, timely, clear criticism with explicit goal of helping them and without anger.

- We don’t get angry with them for failing, but explain how to make it better.
EAT LIKE YOU LOVE YOURSELF
- Feed yourself things that are good for you.
- Don’t Feed yourself the things that are bad for you.
- Manage desire with compassion, empathy and understanding. But not permissiveness!
FAILURE IS OK
- We are all still learning
- The goal is not to lose weight, it’s to learn how to eat like a mensch.
- Treat yourself without guilt... If you deserve it!
