The story of Esther started when Mordecai wanted Esther to be queen of Persia. If she became queen she would be the the wife of the pharaoh.

Esther said that she would offer to be queen. When it was her turn to see the pharaoh, the pharaoh loved her and they became queen and king of Persia.

The Kings assistant Haman who days later put a law out that said that all Jews must be killed excluding Esther.

Mordecai sees the law and rushes to tell Esther's maid in waiting. Esther finds out about the law and goes and tells the king that she is going to host a feast to propose the question.

Two feast go by without Esther telling the king and at the third feast she says that the new law would kill all Jews. The king is astonished and demands to find out who made the law.

The king finds out that Mordecai told them about the law. After, the king realizes that the law was from Haman and tells the guards to kill him, Mordecai becomes the new second in power.
