CATEGORIZING TORNADOES

  • A light tornado would be F0 winds:40-72mph
  • A moderate tornado would be F1 winds:73-112mph
  • A significant tornado would be F2 winds:113-157mph
  • A severe tornado would be F3 winds:158-206mph
  • A devastating tornado would be F4 winds:207-260mph
  • An incredible tornado would be F5 winds:261-318mph
