  • new audiences - social media
  • pesuasive essay
  • able to 'play' with thoughts - dont necessarily have to have it sorted
  • unlike essays dont just end up in rubbish - more than just you and the marker read them
  • allows for interaction
  • allows for ideas to be tested
  • for assessment purposes - allows me to see progression in development of thinking
  • still need great structure - but diff to essay

So what....

  • paragraphs shorter and more to the point - feels fluid and coherent
  • voice used needs to be rich, sharp and distinct to gain an audience
