PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MY VIEW ON THE BEATITUDES

SOPHIA WINLACK

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God. To me this means many things. I think this means we should be grateful for what we have because many people don’t have what we have. We should also share our things with less fortunate people. Helping people and giving them things they need can help them so much and make them happier. I can do this by giving someone less fortunate than me clothes or food.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. To me this means we should try and help people who are grieving. It can be very hard to deal with a big loss. If your family or friends are there to support you it makes it a lot easier. How I can do this is if my friends family member has passed away I can bake them a pie or spend time with them.

Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the land. To me this means we should try to stay as peaceful as we can. Even when things are hard we can do things to stay calm . We will be rewarded eventually.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. To me this means we should be equal. We should make everything fair for everyone. We should think about others feelings .

Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy. To me this means we should forgive those who where unkind to us. We should always look for ways to be kind. It can be hard forgiving people but it’s the right thing to do.

Blessed are the clean of heart for they will see God. To me this means we should do what’s right. We should do the right thing because we know it’s good and is safe. We should let god purify our heart and get rid of our sins.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God. These are the people that try to make everything peaceful. They are good people and God appreciates them. They make leave with others and with them and God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. To me this means we should keep doing what’s right even if others don’t like it. We should do what we know is right and not stop because other people say so. It can be hard and others opinion can affect us but we have to keep doing what’s right.
