A Family favorite! This book is for people of all ages! One of the books where once you pick it up, you cannot put it down, one of the most addicting reads of the century. Some people will understand the lesson at the end which was smartly chosen by the author, Jacob Jaworski. The author uses people from his life to incorporate into the story and he intends to teach as many children and even adults as possible about the importance of not judging people, and the importance of having knowledge about kickball. Wether you like balls or tales this book has everything for you!

Jake Tells Freddy to come and play with him during recess. But neither of them know what to do.

The teacher, Mrs. Wampski sugguests that the boys play kickball because in 1990 kickball was just starting to get popular! And everyone started loving playing it!

Freddy wants to go and play kickball with all the other kids.

Jake's friend Krista wants to join on his team to play with him!

Freddy makes fun of how Krista is skinny and not as good as the boys.

Jake defends krista and joins her team because he feels bad.

The game goes good until it's krista's turn to kick and she accidentally misses the ball!

All of Freddy's team starts to laugh and make fun of Krista because she missed.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, Freddy also made fun of Krista's glasses!

This makes Krista mad and she gets ready for her next turn. she will win no matter what it takes.

It's Krista's turn to kick again and Freddy yells "Everybody move in! Easy out!" But Krista is ready.

Freddy pitches the ball, and Krista hits it dead on, it flies all the way to the other side of the playground! She got a home-run!

All of Freddy's team watch as the ball sails out of their reach and far away. Nobody moves they all just stare at Krista in amazement.

Before Krista kicked, so that means Krista's team is ahead! And it's the last inning! They won!

Krista's entire team starts yelling and chanting "Krista! Krista! Krista!" and they even voted her MVP

Freddy just stands in the middle of the field angry. But he is sad too, because he picked on Krista without knowing much about her.

Jake tells Freddy that he shouldn't judge people at all. Because you never know a person until you give them a chance.

Freddy feels bad about making fun of krista. So he decides to apologize to her for judging her.

Krista starts teaching Freddy all about kickball. She tells him that it was invented in 1917 by Nicholas Suess.

Krista also tells Freddy that kickball origionaly was played with a soccer ball or volley ball.
