IS IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE...

  • He was from Spain and my mom speaks and teaches Spanish.
  • I am going to St. Ignatius college prep and the school is named after him.
  • His feast day is my best friends birthday
  • He is one of my favorite saints and a great example of the faith for me.

  • He was a companion of Saint Ignatius of Loyola
  • My cousin goes to St. Francis Xaiver
  • He was one of the first seven Jesuits who took vows of poverty and chastity which is very impressive.

  • My grandfathers name is Robert.
  • May 13 is one of my close friends birthdays and that's when he was beatified.
  • He is a doctor of the church along with some of my other favorite saints.

IS IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE...

  • He was the first Jesuit priest and theologian.
  • He was proclaimed a saint by the first Jesuit Pope and the current Pope, Pope Francis.

IS IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE...

  • He helps today's youth and the poor.
  • I got to watch him become Pope.
  • He is accepting of all people.
