Since the Vietnam war was going on the cost of synthetics such as vinyl and nylon rose. As a result, everyday designers had to keep things simple. Ties became wider and bolder. Their pant suits had wide legs and large cuffs.
Men weren't wearing hats anymore.Collars were wide and the pants were tight. The track suit and the leisure suit were introduced. Neck ties became wide and bold.Most men simply wore jeans, sweaters, and T-shirts, which by then were being made with more elaborate designs.
The hairstyles of the 1970s are the Afro, mullet, corn rows,and dread locks. Men wore platforms oxfords and basketball shoes.
