ROSA PARKS

• (Feb 4 1913-Oct 24 2005)
• December 1 1955 she Was arrested on a bus in montgromy, Alambama
• She was pushing for intagration
• Known as the mother of the civil rights movment

RUBY BRIDGES

• Sept 8 1954- still living
• In spring 1950 she was one of the first children to go to a all white school
• At that she also got arested
• Her parents were trying to prove that any race could go to a school together

A. PHILIP RANDOLPH

• 1889-1979
• Led the march on Washington
• Did that to help convince franklin d. Rosabelt order a non racial society

THURGOOD MARSHALL

• 1908 -1993
• Was the courts 98 justice and first african american justice
• Won the brown vs bourd of education help segregation in public schools
• Je did it to prove you can be any race in the Supreme Court and help raciel movments in public schools
