Goals of Humanism

• the student can develop their whole self and reach their full potential
• learning environments where students feel safe from intense competition, harsh discipline, and safe from failure
• goal is to move beyond the jail mentality, students should be happy and involved ratehr than bored, threatened and frightened

The purpose
