Define Angiosperms 

  • a plant that has flowers and produces seeds enclosed within a carpel. The angiosperms are a large group and include herbaceous plants, shrubs, grasses, and most trees.

  • Vascular

  • Garden Flowers
  • Fruit Trees
  • Tomatoes
  • Pine Cones
  • Dandelions

DEFINE GYMNOSPERM

  • A cone bearing plant
  • Reproduces with scales
  • Called naked seeds
  • Evergreen Plants

3 GYMNOSPERM CHARACTERISTICS 

  • They do not have an outer covering or shell around their seeds. They do not produce fruits or flowers They are pollinated by the wind.

  • Pine cone
  • Pine tree
  • Ginkgo
  • Cycads
  • Cactus
