  • Gases can usually be smelled, like perfume or car gasoline.
  • Most gases are invisible.
  • Atoms in gases move fast.

  • The hotter the liquid, the faster the atoms move.
  • Liquids flow and do not have a certain shape or form.
  • A fast flowing liquid has a lot of energy.
