Deciphering the America constitution and its relevance in the modern world

RELIGION AND EXPRESSION

  • government have a non religious purpose
  • Not end up promoting or favoring any set of religious beliefs
  • Not overly involve the government with religion

IN MODERN SOCIETY

  • President Donald Trump signed an executive order on religious freedom.
American should be forced to choose between the dictates of the federal government and the tenets of their faith.” And the order itself includes similar language, “Federal law protects the freedom of Americans and their organizations to exercise religion and participate fully in civic life without undue interference by the Federal Government.”

PROTEST

It is allowed to protest in America according to the first amendment. Although they criticized the government, polices’s responsibility is to keep them safe.

NFL PROTEST

President Trump caused a nationwide uproar this week when he repeatedly attacked the professional football players who kneel during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial inequality, saying that they were being disrespectful to the country, the military and the American flag.
