Written Summary

• Roy and a running boy that calls himself "Mullet Fingers" tries to save a burrowing owl den from being buried by Mother Paula's Pancake House

Meet Roy, Roy is a boy (that just rhymed), from Montana that moved to Coconut Cove Florida.

One day on the bus Roy spotted a boy without shoes running that was his age, but the catch is his school was the only middle school around

Dana Matherson was pinning him down at the time he saw him. so he punched Dana in the face

Then he ran from Dana and got hit with a golf ball right smack in the forehead

Roy talks to his friend Garrett about it and Beatrice over heard their talking about the running boy

She told them to mind their own business

One day Dana was about to punch him and then Beatrice Kidnapped Roy and Stripped Dana to his underpants and hung him to the pole

Then she tells Roy that the boy (another rhyme) is his step-brother

Meanwhile there was someone who spray painted a cop car, put alligators in the porta- potties and put snakes to kill the guard dogs

Roy finds out about this case and finds out that Beatrice's step-brother did it.

When Roy found out about this he wanted to help Mullet fingers ( The step brother save the owls

He gathered people from his school to protest and they stop the pancake house

Mullet Fingers gets sent to juvie but gets out by Dana Matherson

And he was never seen again
