INDEPENDENCE

• Many countries go to war to gain independence from other nations.
• Reasons:
• To create their own economy and make more money
• To make their own laws and customs
• From opposing parties disagreeing and wanted more control.

ECONOMY/ WEALTH

• Countries take over land to make colonies
• They use the colonies for their resources
• The Mexican war for Independence

LAWS AND CUSTOMS

• There are two sides to laws
• Laws can split people apart and make them protest
• They sometimes to to war because of their firm beliefs
• The American Civil War

CONTROL/ POLITICAL PARTIES

• There are usually two main parties
• They are against each other on almost everything
• They fight for control over the countries political positions
• The Chinese war for independence

THE SECOND AMERICAN CIVIL WAR

• A future war will be a civil war in America
• Democrats vs Republicans
• They will have a dispute on a curtain law
• One party will want to have independence
