  • It's usually grey/white.
  • It has 8 Phases: New Moon, New Crecent, First Quater, New Gibbous, Full Moon, Old, Gibbous, Last Quater, and Old Crescent.

COMPOSITION

  • SURFACE: 43% OXYGEN, 42% CHROMIUM, 20% SILICON, 19% MAGNESIUM,
  • 18% TITANIUM, 12% MANGANESE, 10% IRON, 3% CALCIUM, & 3% ALUMINUM.
  • LUNAR ATMOSPHERE: 40 THOUSAND ARGON, 2-4 THOUSAND HELIUM, 70% SODIUM,
  • 17% POTASIUM, AND LESS THAN 17% HYDROGEN.

WHY IS THE MOON ORANGE🍊❓

THE HARVEST MOON IS ORANGE WHEN IT'S CLOSE TO THE HORIZON.

THE MOON CAN'T HAVE SATELLITES BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO ORBIT DUE TO THE TIDES.

THE MOON HAS APPROX. 1/4 OF EARTH'S DIAMETER, 1/50 OF ITS VOLUME, AND 1/80 OF ITS MASS.
