• The economy was made up on agriculture, they supplied crops and food to surrounding regions.
• They spread south and east absorbing local populations of hunting gathering and fishing.
• They brought people into their own society.
• The Bantu people had no government system, and split upon their tribes.

•  but few lands were available for migrants to settle on.
• Kongo had a tight centralized government which led them to being successful.
