Thomas More was born on February 7, 1478
He was born and lived in London, on Milk Street
He was a layer, a saint, a journalist, and a philosopher
He worked as a barrister in 1501
He studied law and legal studies

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
1516- His book "Utopia" is published
His book describes an ideal social world
400 years after his death, he was canonized in the Catholic Church
In 1523, he was elected speaker of parliament.
In 1935, he became a saint

Believed that all girls should be educated
He supported and contributed to the development of freedom of speech
He believed that he promoted himself to the exalted position of chancellor
