STATISTICS OF EUTHANASIA

  • Use of Euthanasia in the United States is very little to none.
  • Only Oregon has legalized the use of Euthanasia.
  • Three countries still practice it today including Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland.
  • It occurs to painlessly end a life who has an incurable disease.

NEGATIVE AFFECTS

  • The negative affects of the euthanasia in the world are mainly the fact that its killing innocent, harmless victims.
  • If we didn't have a say in this decision then euthanasia would be legal everywhere.
  • It would be a large impact on ways to die in the world.
  • A few problems with the arguements for and against this topic are that the world is pretty evenly divided on the debate if wrong or right.
  • People say its humane and others think its morally horrific.

Regarding this topic, the Church stands against the act of euthanasia. They believe that all life is sacred and should be preserved as much as possible.

There really is no alternative to euthanasia. The only way help is by keeping the patient on life support.

We need to respect all life because life was created by God in his image. Therefore it is sacred and should be treated with the utmost respect.

Teens can come together as groups to peacefully protest against it if they feel that euthanasia is wrong. They can educate others on this topic.

Proverbs 24:11-12 Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?

Proverbs 19:21
The human mind may devise many plans,
but it is the purpose of the LORD that will be
established

Isaiah 41:13
For I, the LORD your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Do not fear,
I will help you.”

Micah 6:8
He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
