CIRCULATORY

  • Red arteries are at the top of the fishes and are high in oxygen
  • Blue veins at the bottom start at the bills and work their way through the heart and to the tail
  • The blue veins are also poor in oxygen

DIGESTION

AND GAS EXCHANGE

FEEDING AND DIGESTION

  • Same digestion system as humans but some fish have different teeth and stomachs because of what they eat.

GAS EXCHANGE

  • Because they live in water they have gills
  • Water goes through the gills the opposite direction as the blood and because of that fish can extract oxygen 3 times the rate a human can.
