Sickle - Cell Disease is a genetically inherited disease that causes the blood flow to clog.

The effects of Sickle - Cell Disease include: Pain, low blood count, and anemia.

Sickle-Cell Disease is most common in African Americans.
About 70,000 - 80,000 Americans inherit
Sickle - Cell Disease every year.
