  • Anton Kaindl was the camp-commandant
  • Located in Oranienburg, Germany
  • Established in 1936
  • Known for killing jews by shooting
  • Not a extermination camp

PRISONERS

  • There where 140,000 jews
  • About 64,000 jews where executed
  • They allowed homosexual jews
  • 46% of jews where killed
  • The prisoners where mostly mental and disabled jews

SACHSENHAUSEN ENDS

  • Was liberated on April 22, 1945
  • There was about 300 escapes
