Soldiers helped save our lives like in World War 1. They always were willing to help in every way they could.

What they did

  • Soldiers helped people around the WORLD
  • They sacrificed themselves for us
  • They did everything they could and they loved us
  • They left their families to go fight
  • They won sometimes but sometimes they lost

War is extremly dangerous for the people that went such as husbands and teenagers.

We thank the soldiers for doing everything they could but who exactly went?

Teenagers went to World War 1 and like real soldiers sacrificed and trained their selves to save us now these days but how many soldiers died?

Approximately more than 38 million people died. 17 million people died. 20 million people wounded. The total death of people include 11 million military and 7 million civilians.

2 canadian heroes that attended world war 1

  • Charles Henry Byce
  • General Arthur Currie

Byce earned his first decoration for some valour—the Military Medal in the Netherlands in January 1945. By that time, the Allies had established themselves in France and Belgium and, in another month, would launch an offensive for a final push over the to Germany.

Sir Julian Byng was a great commander for World War 1 from 1915 to 1917 until General Arthur Currie took over. Currie was assigned in June 1917 to head of Canadian Corps.

Conclusion: The soldiers cared like the top 5 that I mentioned. They did everything they could for us and HELPED us. Don't forget they LOVED us and sacrificed to care for us so we should thank them. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!
