• cultural pluralism- used when smaller groups within a larger society maintain their unique cultural identities
• supply side economics- a macroeconomic theory arguing that economic growth can be most effectively created by lowering taxes
• stagflation- persistent high inflation combined with high unemployment and stagnant demand in a country's economy
• trickle-down- of an economic system in which the poorest gradually benefit as a result of the increasing wealth of the richest
• economics- the condition of a region or groups as a regards material prosperity
• The Left- a group or party favoring liberal, socialist, or radical views
