The man and his family

THEY LIVE IN AN IMPROVISED TOWN

  • The dragon shows danger
  • The camera angle makes the town look small and powerless
  • The shadows represtent darkness

THE STORY STARTS WHEN THE MAN LEAVES

  • They softly touch each other's hands showing care
  • They aren't looking at each other
  • It shows that eye contact is more intimate than speaking

He travels by train and he travels by sea.

THE MAN MUST FIND A PLACE TO STAY

  • He looks lost
  • He is unfamiliar with his surroundings

He comes across a creature who follows the man everywhere he goes.

When trying to find employment and money, the man gets help along the way from sympathetic strangers.

HE SEND A LETTER TO HIS FAMILY

  • He needs help and someone to talk to
  • His family are the only ones who understand him
  • They are the only people he can talk to

After a very, very long time...

His family arrives...

And they are united again.

The story shows importance in family and how difficult it is adapting to different places and having new experiences that you need to get used to. It has messages of being different and being in new places.
