PRESENTATION OUTLINE
A is for alcohol
Soda pop is just like his dad. he would not get close to alcohol not even during a drag race. In the neighborhood it's really rare to find someone that does not drink alcohol.
B is for blade
When ponyboy was out on the street some socs found him. When they did they started to call him names. Plus they pulled out there blade and was about to cut his hair.
C is for corvair
Is a type of car that the socs would ride in. They would yell greasers out the window. They would Tease them too.
D is for Dallas
Dallas is one of the members of the greasers. He was arrested In New York. He is tougher then the rest of the gang.
E is for Elvis
Elvis is a person you was hit. He was tuff outside when he gave autographs. The greasers would listen to Elvis.
F is for father
Steve did not like his father. He would push him to do good. Two-bits father ran out of the house to stop taking care of him.
G is for greasers
A greaser is someone you does not cut there hair. They do not have a lot of stuff because they are poor. They put a lot of grease in their hair.
H is for haircut
The greasers never get a haircut because they are really poor. Bob said " do you need a haircut greaser". They have long hair so they know who is a greaser.
I is for idea
When people think of something it's a idea. Johnny said " whatever gave you the idea we ain't. Dally had a idea that Johnny and ponyboy to go away.
J is for Johnny
Johnny is a greaser who killed a socs named bob. He even cut his hair and his friend pony boys hair so they can be discussed. He is 16 years old.
K is for kid
people were saying that ponyboy is a kid. If he was not a kid he would not run away. He and Johnny went to go tell dally of what happened.
L is for lighter
That it is lighter in the east. When the sun comes up it is lighter then the moon. They use a lighter to light the candle.
M is for mother
Johnny mother and father did not love him at all. When Johnny was in the hospital his mother was here and he did not want to see her. When ponyboy lost his mom and dad he felt sad.
N is for nurse
When ponyboy was in the hospital a nurse would came in and help take care of him. When Johnny's. Mother was in the hospital to visit him the nurse came in and told him. The nurse would ask him if he needed anything or to help him out of his room and get tests done.
O is for okay
When Johnny was going to cut his hair ponyboy would say okay. When Darry had slap ponyboy he just ran away with Johnny and Darry said okay. When they where in the hospital ponyboy would ask Johnny if he was okay.
P is for ponyboy
Ponyboy is a greaser. He is Darry's and sodapops brother. Ponyboy is 14 years old with out his parents his parents got killed in a automobile accident.
Q is for quiet
Everybody was quiet when Johnny killed bob. When they say dally they were a little quiet because Johnny killed a Soc. Johnny would keep quiet about his parents.
R is for rumble
When there is a Rumble it is a fight. Ponyboy would not get into a rumble because it would cause his headaches. They would never try to get into a rumble.
S is for sodopop
Sodopop is ponyboys and Darry's brother. Sodapop drop out of school because he thought he was dumb. Sodopop is apart of the greasers.
T is for two-bit
Two-bit is one of the greasers. He is 18 years old and hhis real name is Keith. Two-bit is about 6 feet tall.
U is for unfair
The greasers thoughts that it was unfair to the socs because they always got the nice cars. Bob got really jealous when he saw cherry hanging out with ponyboy. Ponyboy thought that it was unfair that the socs always get the good stuff.
V is for victory
When there was a rumble happening. The socs were fighting the greasers and they the socs lose the rumble. The greasers then would go and celebrate their victory.
W is for welup
Johnny gave ponyboy a book called Gone with the Wind. When Johnny died the nurse gave ponyboy the book with a letter
X is for xenophobia
The greasers were afraid of the socs because they would jump them. The socs were not afraid of the greases because they would do nothing to stop them. But ponyboy stood up for himself in the socs ran away from the greasers.
Y is for young
When the church burned down all the young children were in there. Johnny was only 16 years old when he died in the hospital from getting hit In the church by something on his back. Darry treats ponyboy like a young baby.
Z is for zephyr
When the book was written it all took place in the olden days. There was a gentle breeze blowing so they keep cool. They would wear like jackets and long pants.
