Anne Bradstreet was a poet who taught the Puritans to value their home.








B:
Bradford wrote 'Of Plymouth Plantations' as a journal. This piece held the major happenings as his term at governor.

C:

Church is where the Puritans go to worship God.

D:

Daily logs were kept by a lot of puritans, especially those who were in government.

E:

Edwards was a priest. He was considered too strict in the teaching of faith.

F:

Faith kept the Puritans moving everyday. They prayed to God all the time.

G:

God is prayed to everyday by the Puritans. God is omnipotent.

Hell was believed to be the destination of sinners. If Purtains sinned they would be doomed to hell.

Imagery was used to describe Hell in John Edwards' sermon. Hell is terrifying.

Journals were kept by puritans, to record daily happenings. God was often credited.

Kindship was part of the Puritan life. People would share and make firends.

Love between husband and wife kept the Puritan families together.

North East is where the Puritans settled. They settled around Plymouth Plantation.

"Of Plymouth Plantations" was written to record the main events in Plymoth Colony.

Puritans were the first group to settle in Plymouth. They came for religious freedom.

Religious freedom is what brought the Puritans to Plymouth.

Similes were used in Edwards' sermon to show the intensity of Gods anger.

Thanksgiving was celebrated as peace with the Indians. The Indians brought food!

University of Harvard was founded by the Puritans. Today, it is one of the best colleges.

Vegetables kept the Puritans healthy and gave them proper nutrients to fight disease.

Winters in NE are brutal. Winter often killed many settlers.
