CELL CYCLE

LAUREN LACY

G1 PHASE

  • WHEN THE CELL STARTS TO GROW,
  • CYTOPLASMIC ORGANELLES ARE BEING REPLACED

S Phase
Chromosomes get replicated , prepares for mitosis

G2 PHASE

  • The second stage where the cell grows
  • Also the stage where material for the spindle

The cycle new cells go through. Every time a cell goes through the cell cycle it turns to two cell.

INTERPHASE

  • This is the phase where the cell is growing
  • Makes Multiple Copies of DNA
  • Prepapares it for the next stage
  • Also, its parted into 3 substages

Cytokinesis
This is where the cytoplasm divides and begins creating a new cell.

Mitosis is divided into the prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and also the telophase.

Prophase
The chromatin gets tight , into chromosomes . There shaped like X 's

Metaphase
Sister chromatids are pulled to the middle of the cell known as equator.

Anaphase
Is the stage where chromatids get pulled apart

Telophase
Is the stage when chromosomes get to the poles and become calm
