  • Was planned to occupy a series of bridges with paratroopers behind enemy lines, and keep the bridges occupied for three or four days until Garden reinforcements arrived.

GARDEN

  • It was planned based on a land advance to the north to reach the bridges taken by the paratroopers, reinforce the units of the latter and establish a corridor under Allied domain that, crossing the territory occupied by the enemy, allowed safe access to Germany.
