Well let's all find out.

Geothermal Meaning?
Geothermal energy is relating to or produced by the inside heat of the earth.

GEOTHERMAL ENERGY

  • 24 countries around the world use geothermal power to create electricity.
  • Geothermal energy is the renewable source of energy because energy is produced continuously inside the earth.
  • Geothermal energy is used for heating homes and offices, create power, grow plants in greenhouses, under roads and sidewalks to keep ice formation.

Biomass Meaning?
Natural matter used as a fuel, especially in a power station for the generation of electricity.

BIOMASS

  • Biomass is all plant and animal matter on the Earth's surface. Biomass is anything that is alive.
  • Biomass gets its energy from the sun.
  • Biomass can be used to make electricity. Many towns burn their garbage in waste-to-energy plants.
  • Most biomass is in solid shape, but it can also be a liquid

SOLAR ENERGY

  • Solar energy lights up at night.
  • Solar energy comes from sunlight.
  • Solar energy has been used by humans for a long time for uses such as heating, cooking food, removing salt from seawater and drying clothes.
  • Solar cells change the form of light energy into electricity.
  • Solar cells are also called photovoltaic cells
  • Solar energy refers to energy from the sun.

Wind Meaning?
electrical energy obtained from producing the wind with windmills or wind turbines

WIND ENERGY

  • Wind creates electricity by using windmills.
  • When the wind turns the blades of a windmill, it spins a turbine inside a small generator to produce electricity
  • Solar energy is used for heating water for domestic use, space heating of buildings, drying agricultural products, and generating electrical energy
  • A windmill on a farm can make only a small amount of electricity.

HYDRO ENERGY

  • Hydropower is a clean, renewable and reliable energy source.
  • Hydroelectric power, or hydroelectricity, is created by the force of falling water
  • Hydropower is power that is generated from moving water such as rivers.
  • There are over 2,000 hydro power plants in the United States.
