HISTORY OF THE 1ST

  • Ratified on December 15, 1792 as Part of the Bill of Rights
  • More of an importance today than back then
  • Founders referenced previous European documents (Pro's & Cons)
  • First established ideas therefore minor disagreement
  • America wouldn't be America without the first amendment
